DCM School is one of the oldest schools of Delhi. This school was established sixty eight years ago as a primary school for children of Labour working in Delhi Cloth Mill. Admissions in the school were not restricted only for the children of mill workers but outsider students were also welcomed. Later on it was upgraded as Secondary school in 1969 and Senior Secondary school in 1978.

DCM Girls School is Recognized and Aided under Directorate of Education, Govt of NCT, Delhi and affiliated to C.B.S.E. Primary wing was handed over to MCD long back. DCM School is double shift school which operates in two shifts, with girl students attending the school in morning shift and boys in evening shift. The school is from sixth standard onwards.

DCM Girls school philosophy is that each child is unique and has her own strengths and fixity of purpose. The school is providing all the benefits to the students like other Government schools. Our focus is to groom our children to be global citizens with regard to Indian culture and values.
